Central Hokkaido:
Sea of Snow tour

Immerse yourself into the hidden gems of Hokkaido island

2.855€

Base yourself in the heart of Hokkaido’s snow country at Yukiumi Furano, our private Japanese lodge. Over six incredible days, explore Furano’s world-renowned backcountry, summit volcanic peaks like Asahidake, soak in hidden hot springs, and ski some of the lightest, driest snow on earth.

The aim of this trip is that you can explore this island deeply, going far from the lift lines and the crowds, where the locals like to go skiing.

Accomodation

We’re just 10 minutes from Furano city center, tucked away in a quiet rural neighborhood where you can really disconnect and enjoy the peace and nature around you.

Super easy to get to the ski slopes, big supermarkets, and awesome restaurants, but still far enough to feel like a proper getaway. We’ll be staying in cozy Japanese-style twin rooms at the lodge, which really adds to the local vibe. Oh, and right in front of our place there’s a beautiful old Japanese temple, it adds such a cool, magical vibe to the whole experience.

Day Diary

• We start the day early with a solid breakfast. During breakfast, we’ll have a short briefing to decide the day’s plan.

• Riding session begins. We’ll head to the selected area and focus on having a productive and safe day on the mountain.

• After riding, we visit the onsen to relax and recover in the Japanese hot springs.

• Dinner is served either at Yukiumi house or at a nearby restaurant. After that, we rest and prepare for the next day.
