1. BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS
1.1 Niseko Area Tours (organized by Aura Snow Trips)
A 30% deposit of the total trip price is required to secure your booking.
The remaining balance must be paid in full by November 16, 2025.
If the minimum of 4 participants is not reached by November 16, the trip will be cancelled and all payments—including deposit—will be fully refunded.
Cancel before October 1: full refund of the 30% deposit.
Cancel October 1 – November 16: deposit is non‑refundable.
Cancel after November 16: no refunds.
1.2 Central Hokkaido Tours (operated by local partner)
By paying the deposit or full amount, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted all the terms and conditions outlined below.
1.2.1 BOOKINGS AND PAYMENT
A non-refundable 20% deposit is required to confirm any reservation.
Bookings made within 60 days of the tour must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Early bird discounts require full payment at the time of booking.
Full payment for standard bookings is due 60 days prior to the start of the tour.
1.2.2 CANCELLATIONS AND REFUND POLICY
Cancellations made between 60 and 30 days before tour start incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made within 30 days of tour incur a 100% cancellation fee (no refund).
No refunds for missed days due to illness, travel delays, or weather.
All tours are subject to minimum participant numbers. If not met, we will offer to reschedule or provide a refund.
2. TOUR CATEGORIES
2.1 Niseko Area Tours
These experiences are planned and managed by Aura Snow Trips and include:
Private group accommodation in Niseko
Local transport between lifts and villages
Cultural activities (onsen visits, local cuisine)
Guided freeride days in Niseko, Moiwa, Rusutsu, or Kiroro
Aura Snow Trips handles all logistics and group coordination; some guiding services may be delivered by trusted local partners under our oversight.
2.2 Central Hokkaido Tours
These are resold packages run entirely by a certified third‑party operator. Destinations include Furano, Asahidake, Tokachidake, etc. Aura Snow Trips coordinates bookings and customer support but all on‑site operations, safety briefings, and guiding follow the operator’s own policies (see § 1.2).
3. WEATHER, CONDITIONS & ITINERARY CHANGES
Tours operate in all weather conditions.
Itineraries may be modified for safety (avalanche risk, road closures, visibility).
No refunds for weather‑related cancellations or itinerary changes.
4. SKILL LEVEL & PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITIES
You must ensure your ski/snowboard ability matches the tour’s level.
If you cannot keep up or conditions exceed your skill, you may be excluded without refund.
Follow all guide instructions at all times.
5. REQUIRED EQUIPMENT
All participants must bring:
Avalanche transceiver (beacon)
Probe
Shovel
Backpack for safety gear
Freeride/backcountry ski or board setup
Technical winter clothing
A gear check is mandatory; inadequate equipment may result in exclusion from activities.
Rental gear must be arranged in advance.
6. INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
You must carry valid travel insurance covering:
Off‑piste skiing/snowboarding
Emergency evacuation (helicopter rescue)
Medical expenses
Trip cancellation
Aura Snow Trips is not responsible for costs arising from accidents, evacuations, or delays.
7. RISKS & LIABILITY
By joining any Aura Snow Trips tour, you acknowledge inherent risks:
Avalanches
Tree wells
Falls and injuries
Harsh weather and remote locations
A signed Liability Waiver & Risk Acknowledgment is required before participating.
8. MEDIA & PROMOTIONAL USE
Unless you specify otherwise in writing, photos and videos taken during the tour may be used by Aura Snow Trips for marketing purposes.
9. DATA PRIVACY
Your personal information is used solely for trip management and emergency communication. We do not share your data with third parties, except when necessary for bookings or safety.
